Oil Refining in the EU in 2015

Report no. 1/07: In the next decade, the EU refining industry will be facing significant changes in demand both in absolute terms and with regard to the relative calls for its main products. Notably, the imbalance between the demand for gasoline and middle distillates is likely to continue to increase.

This report explores the possible consequences of these changes on the investment requirement of the EU refining sector as well as the evolution of its energy consumption and CO₂ emissions.
