CONCAWE Review – Spring 2009

Volume 18 • Number 1: When Concawe's director joined CONCAWE in late 2004, he took the helm of an organisation which had already proved its value to the oil industry through more than 40 years of technical contributions, and whose credibility and professionalism was acknowledged both within the industry and beyond.

Following the sound principle that one does not change a winning formula, he considered that is role was not to revolutionise CONCAWE, but to guide it into the future. He had the privilege of becoming part of an organisation staffed with individuals of great creativity and professionalism. While there have been many changes in the technical staff during his time here, one thing has remained constant the very high quality of the Secretariat staff and of the company experts who contribute to the work of our task forces and working groups.
