European Downstream Oil Industry Safety Performance

Report no. 4/97: Statistical summary of reported incidents - 1996. This report is the third by CONCAWE reviewing the safety performance of the downstream oil industry in Western Europe. It includes the results of 28 companies which together represent over 90% of the oil refining capacity in Europe. It is therefore a representative sample of the industry. However, as the data for some companies is incomplete, the most important results are quoted as frequencies.
